Overview
As of 7 January, in Gaza, 2,229 individuals have been recorded as injured and received treatment for varying degrees of injuries during the reporting period. Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) rotation is ongoing, with two having completed their engagement and an additional two EMTs expected mid-week, bringing the total to 12. To address the continuing high needs, plans are in place to increase bed capacity and operating theatres and deploy additional surge teams over the next few weeks. In the West Bank, 146 individuals were treated for injuries, and mobile primary healthcare teams conducted 1,420 consultations during the same reporting period.
