OPt Health Cluster Partners Update - 30 November 2023
Overview
As of 30 November 2023, during the humanitarian pause, two northern hospitals received essential supplies and fuel, while over 700 patients were transferred to the partially functioning southern hospitals with expanded capacity. A total of 150 mobile teams are providing primary healthcare to internally displaced persons (IDPs), with efforts to increase access and reopen closed facilities. Approximately 40,000 daily primary healthcare consultations were conducted, including services in shelters in the north. Distribution efforts included 600 clean delivery kits and 10,000 hygiene kits in Gaza. MHPSS services reached around 11,000 people, and in the West Bank, 3,000 people benefited from mobile clinics, while 1,200 received MHPSS services. The EMT coordination cell is active in Cairo, and a surge capacity of up to 38 teams, including 500 beds, has been identified, with expressions of interest in donating infrastructure and supplies welcomed.
