17 November 2023

Overview

This report, as of 17 November 2023, outlines the oPt Health Cluster partners' response in the occupied Palestinian territories. Despite challenges, partners have addressed urgent health needs, distributing kits, providing cash transfers, and offering services such as mobile healthcare and child vaccinations. Challenges persist in Gaza and the West Bank, including insecurity, logistical issues, and funding gaps of 19% and 14%, highlighting the need for international support. The flash appeal of $204.2 million has only received $38.5 million committed and $30 million pledged. Humanitarian priorities include an immediate ceasefire, population protection, sustained access to supplies, and ensuring healthcare respect. In the West Bank, priorities include de-escalation of violence, protection from settler violence, and an end to discriminatory policies.
