Global Health Cluster Strategy 2020-2023

Overview

When emergencies occur, coordination is necessary. No one organization can respond to a crisis alone. Health Clusters exist to relieve suffering and save lives in humanitarian emergencies, while advancing the well-being and dignity of affected populations.

Currently there are 32 Health Clusters/Sectors, of which two are regional coordination mechanisms, that collectively respond to humanitarian and public health emergencies to improve the health outcomes of affected populations through timely, predictable, appropriate and effective coordinated health action.

The Global Health Cluster works towards 5 strategic priorities to achieve its vision and mission.
