World Vision: COVID-19 response builds on lessons learned from Ebola in DRC

The onset of the COVID-19 outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo prompted World Vision to review good practices and lessons learned from their response to the Ebola crisis in North Kivu Province. Results from a survey demonstrate the secondary mental health and psychosocial impacts of the Ebola emergency and are being used in the current COVID-19 outbreak to mitigate the mental health impacts on the affected population.
