The launch of the Health Cluster's Localization Strategy is an important step in increasing the involvement and impact of local actors in humanitarian response. Developed through extensive consultation and evidence gathering, the Strategy aims to guide comprehensive engagement with local actors, emphasizing participation, representation, and leadership capacities.

By 2025, the Strategy aims to achieve specific commitments, such as increasing the roles of national NGOs in coordination and promoting equal participation. Furthermore, the Strategy involves local actors in humanitarian program activities and enhances their capacity for resource mobilization. The Strategy will be shared through various channels and supported by capacity-strengthening opportunities. It represents a significant move towards fostering equitable partnerships and effective responses in humanitarian assistance.
