In July 2021, WHO released an updated version of the Clinical Management of Rape and Intimate Partner Violence Survivors (CMRIPV) eLearning program on WHO iLearn. This 7-hour online course is aimed at giving health-care providers (nurses, midwives and physicians) an opportunity to learn how to provide an appropriate and integrated package of care to rape and intimate partner violence survivors in humanitarian settings.

The course is a self-instructional, interactive e-learning program based on the content of the WHO, UNFPA, and UNHCR guidance on Clinical Management of Rape and Intimate Partner Violence Survivors, revised edition (2019).

The program aims to expand reach out to a wide audience of health-care providers who are working in emergencies, and to complement other learning approaches or mechanisms already in place, including the CMRIPV guidelines and face-to-face training sessions on these.

The program is currently available in English and available to the public, including WHO and non-WHO staff. Please follow the instructions using the links to enroll in the online course.
