How is using Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) for health different to other forms of humanitarian cash programming? The Cash Learning Partnership (CaLP), with strong support from the Global Health Cluster Cash-Based Interventions Task Team and other stakeholders, has carried out a review of the different approaches used or planned in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for CVA programming to improve access to health services for people in crisis.
In addition to taking stock of regional experience in MENA, the review contributes to the existing analytical framework of enabling factors and key challenges that are encountered when using CVA to improve health outcomes in humanitarian programming globally.
The event was held on Wednesday 2 June 2021 at 14.00 CET, where CaLP presented findings and facilitated a discussion of the recommendations made.
